Being Open

The Rolling Stones sang “You can’t always get what you want, but you just might find you get what you need”. As a young woman I asked an Astrologer to help me find a goal. What he saw as my career path did not appeal to me at all, at all, at all. I initially resisted his advice but then I decided that since I had asked for a goal, I would take this as my goal and see what happened as I went toward it. I decided to be open instead of closed, and that opened up fantastic opportunities for me. I hope my story will resonate with others to reconsider advice or opportunities that don’t seem ideal at the moment.
