June is known for the large number of marriages that occur over the course of the month. Juno was the goddess of marriage so some consider it good luck to be married in this month. In Iceland, folklore says that if you bathe naked in the morning dew on the morning of June 24, you are supposed to keep aging at bay for longer.
Does the fact that there are lots of naked bathers this month inspire people to get married? I don’t know.
What I do know is that people DO get inspired when attending a MoMondays due to the fact we always have a great lineup of talented speakers and individuals with some wonderful insights to share. This month is no different. We may already be half way through the year, but we are just getting started.
Advance tickets are only $10 online, and $15 at the door! Get your tickets now for our next MoMondays event on Monday June the 10 at The Comedy Cave at 9206-Macleod Trail South Calgary. Doors open at 6:00pm.
